Current Status of Admit Card 2026

As of January 18, 2026, the CBSE Class 10 admit cards have not yet been released for regular students.
However, private candidates can now download their admit cards online.

The CBSE Board has confirmed that there is no delay, and the release is following the usual yearly schedule.

 

Expected Release Timeline

CBSE Class 10 board exams in 2026 will be conducted in two phases:

  • Phase 1: February 17 to March 11, 2026Admit card expected in the last week of January or first week of February 2026
  • Phase 2: May 15 to June 1, 2026Admit card likely around April 22, 2026

Last year (2025), admit cards were released on February 3, so the 2026 timeline looks similar.

 

How to Download Admit Card

For Regular Students

Regular students cannot download the admit card online. Schools will download and print the admit cards using their
affiliation number and login credentials.

Students must collect the admit card from their school with the principal’s signature and official stamp.

 

For Private Candidates

Private candidates can download their admit cards directly from cbse.gov.in by logging in using:

  • Application number
  • Candidate name
  • Previous roll number (if applicable)

The CBSE Class 10 admit card includes:

  • Student’s name and roll number
  • Admit Card ID
  • Date of birth
  • Parents’ names
  • Subject-wise exam dates
  • Exam center name and code
  • CWSN category (if applicable)

Verification & Important Instructions

Students and schools must verify all details immediately. Any error should be reported to school authorities for correction
before the exams begin.

  • Carry the admit card on every exam day
  • Reach the exam center at least 30 minutes early
  • No entry will be allowed without the admit card
