Apple officially introduced the MacBook Neo on March 4, 2026, marking its most affordable MacBook ever.

During the announcement, John Ternus, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, described the laptop as a product “only Apple could create,” combining durability, Apple silicon performance, and the macOS ecosystem at a breakthrough price.
In India, the MacBook Neo starts at ₹69,900, while students can purchase it at a discounted ₹59,900. Pre-orders began immediately after launch, with shipments starting on March 11, 2026.
