RBI ne Repo Rate 25 BPS Kam Karke 5.25% Kar Diya

RBI ne Repo Rate 25 BPS Kam Karke 5.25% Kar DiyaRBI ne Repo Rate 25 BPS Kam Karke 5.25% Kar Diya – Home Loan Aur Market Ko Milega Bada Boost!

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) ne apni last bi-monthly Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting December 2025 me bada decision lete hue repo rate ko 25 basis points (0.25%) kam karke 5.25% kar diya hai. Ye decision unanimously liya gaya hai. Is step ka seedha faayda banking, real estate aur consumer durables jaise rate-sensitive sectors ko hone wala hai.
Experts ke mutabik, repo rate kam hone se market me liquidity badegi aur spending ko boost milega. Saath hi, new home loan lene wale borrowers ke liye ye ek badi relief ki khabar hai. Repo rate kam hone ke baad banks, NBFCs aur financial institutions apne loan interest rates bhi lagbhag 25 bps tak kam kar sakte hain, jisse home loan EMI bhi kam ho jayegi.
Monetary Policy Stance Abhi Bhi Neutral
RBI ne clarify kiya hai ki monetary policy stance abhi bhi “neutral” hi rahega. Matlab future me situation dekh kar hi aage ke rate cut ya hike par decision liya jayega.
Liquidity Badhane Ke Liye Bade Steps
Repo rate cut ke saath-saath RBI ne market me liquidity inject karne ke liye kuch aur bade announcements bhi kiye:
RBI is maheene ₹1 lakh crore ke Government Securities ka Open Market Operation (OMO) purchase karega.
Central bank 3-year buy/sell Dollar-Rupee swap bhi karega jiska value $5 billion hoga.
Pehle Kab Cut Hua Tha Repo Rate?
Isse pehle June 2025 ki policy review me RBI ne repo rate ko 50 basis points kam karke 6% se 5.50% kar diya tha. Usi time monetary stance ko “accommodative” se badal kar “neutral” kar diya gaya tha.
Inflation Me Kami, Growth Ko Support Ka Mauka
RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra ne kaha:
“MPC ne conclude kiya hai ki inflation me kaafi acchi moderation dekhne ko mili hai. Saath hi, global uncertainties aur tariff related developments H2:2025-26 aur aage ke growth ko slow kar sakte hain. Aise me current macroeconomic conditions growth ko support karne ka policy space create karti hain.”
Lekin MPC ne ye bhi maana ki jo pehle ke monetary policy actions aur recent fiscal measures liye gaye hain, unka full impact abhi nikal kar aana baaki hai. Isi wajah se MPC ne agle steps lene se pehle thoda wait karna zyada sahi samjha.
Isiliye MPC ne policy repo rate ko 5.5% par stable rakhne ka decision liya aur stance ko neutral hi rakha.

Home Loan EMI Kitni Kam Hogi?

Ab sawaal ye hai ki repo rate cut ke baad home loan EMI me kitna fark padega?
Tax & investment expert Pankaj Mathpal ke mutabik:
Agar aap ₹50 lakh ka home loan 20 saal ke liye 8% interest par lete ho, to pehle EMI lagbhag ₹41,822 thi, jo ab kam hokar ₹41,047 ho sakti hai.
Agar wahi loan 15 saal ke liye liya jaye, to EMI ₹47,783 se ghat kar lagbhag ₹47,064 ho sakti hai.
Shiv Garg (Forteasia Realty) ke mutabik:
Aaj ke time me home loan interest rates 7.40% se 8.10% ke beech chal rahe hain, CIBIL score par depend karta hai. Agar koi ₹35 lakh ka home loan 20 saal ke liye 8% par leta hai, to uski EMI lagbhag ₹582 tak kam ho sakti hai.

RBI MPC December 2025 – Key Highlights

* Repo rate 25 bps kam hokar 5.25% hua.

* $5 billion ka 3-year Dollar-Rupee swap hoga liquidity ke liye.

* Real GDP Growth 7.3%, full fiscal ke liye 0.5% ka upgrade.

* Q2 me GDP growth 8.2% rahi, strong consumption spending ke chalte.

Final Verdict
RBI ka ye repo rate cut economy ke liye ek positive signal hai. Isse loans saste honge, spending badhegi aur real estate jaise sectors ko strong support milega. Home loan lene ka soch rahe logon ke liye ye time kaafi accha ho sakta hai.
