Organized by VR One World (Thailand) Co Ltd, a Thai-Belgian venture backed by Tomorrowland International, the festival has full BOI approval and promises the signature Tomorrowland production fans love.
Boosting Thailand’s Economy and Tourism
Thailand secured a five-year deal (2026–2030), expecting 21 billion baht ($673 million) in total value. Over 60% of attendees are international visitors, highlighting Thailand as a top destination for global music fans.
The festival is expected to attract over one million attendees across editions, boosting tourism in the Eastern Economic Corridor. Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool called it a “soft power win,” blending EDM vibes with Thai culture.
A Historic Milestone for Asia
Tomorrowland CEO Bruno Vanwelsenaers praised the launch as a “significant milestone” for Asia, marking the first full-scale festival outside Belgium.
Thailand’s growing live music scene — including EDC, Creamfields, and Wonderfruit — makes Chonburi the “heartbeat” for global festival fans, supported by a 2 billion baht TAT budget in 2025.
